Whimsy and Wonder #26- Leach Botanical Garden & Cedar Crossing Bridge

 

I figured I'd take advantage of the nice sunny day while the side effects of the second vaccine hasn't kicked in yet aside from the sore arm.

 

I went to the Leach Botanical Garden. 

 

My favorite part was the Aerial Tree Walk which was a crescent shaped bridge overlooking the first level of the gardens. I was bummed that the footbridge to the Stone Cabin wasn't there- but maybe next time!

 

 

 

I was pleased to learn that there was a covered bridge worth checking out nearby. Maybe by now you know I love bridges despite getting vertigo when I'm too high up. The Cedar Crossing Bridge was cute and another line to my (at this time, mental) list. 

 

 

 

And I saw a Free Books Shelf on my walk today.

 

 

Whimsy and Wonder #25- Just Walking Around (Eight)

 

With wet weather forecasted all week, it's good to be reminded that there's still whimsy and wonder if you seek it out!

I loved this whole elf village set up in someone's lawn but my favorite was the laugh box.

A lazy start to the day led to these discoveries... I loved that walking down one street yielded so many different Little Free Libraries!
